Owner of Mint Dental Loft

Dr. Tran Han received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Han was invited to become a full-time faculty member at the USC School of Dentistry and taught dental students in the Division of Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry for nine years. She is a member of the American Dental Association, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentists, and served as past President on the board of the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry.

On a personal note, she is a self-declared foodie and loves to eat! She believes one of the greatest joys in life is to share tasty food with friends and loved ones. In her free time, she loves having interesting conversations with her 9-year-old son as well as staying active with her Peloton (follow her @SMILEBOSS). She is also passionate about traveling and immersing herself in different cultures.

Mint Dental Loft was created by Dr. Han because she wanted a calm, relaxed environment where patients would WANT to come for their dental care. She strongly believes in mutual communication and thoroughly explains treatment options to patients under her care. Dr. Han’s practice philosophy is focused on being as conservative as possible, while maintaining the health of their teeth, gums, TMJ, and the muscles that encompass the entire oral system.

The mission of her practice is to help patients establish good routine dental care so that they can maintain healthy teeth, gums, joints, and muscles for life because people with teeth have a longer and healthier life.

"Dr. Richard” as he has become known in our office, recently moved to California from Philadelphia, PA, after selling his dental practice in January 2018. A graduate of the Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Richard established his Philadelphia practice in 1990, where he provided comprehensive dental services as a solo practitioner. He and Dr. Han were pleased to discover they share a similar practice philosophy, making his transition into our practice an easy one.

Among the services he now provides in our office are various cosmetic treatments, such as veneers, crowns, onlays, and tooth-colored fillings. He is also experienced with restoring implant cases and has a considerable background in fabricating removable prosthetics (dentures). Patients who have required extractions in our office, have already commented upon how he was able to put them at ease, and how comfortable he was able to make them throughout the procedure. He will also be working with Dr. Han to provide Invisalign® services in the office.

Like Dr. Han, Dr. Richard considers it very important that patients understand their dental condition so they can play an active role in taking command over their health. The doctors’ combined objective is to bring their patients to a state of comfort, function, and stability – versus constantly requiring dental treatment at every visit. Our goal is to get the patient to a point where all they need is routine maintenance services.

Dr. Richard will take the time to listen to you and provide you with the best care possible. Rather than being rushed, you will discover that Dr. Walicki, and all of us at Mint Dental Loft, are there to help you, understand you, and serve your dental needs.

He continues to pursue excellence in patient care by studying advanced dental concepts through regular participation in continuing education courses.

Before entering the dental profession, Dr. Walicki served as a Legislative Aide in both houses of the United States Congress. He also holds an advanced degree from Georgetown University and, while he was born in the United States, he is fluent in the Polish language. He enjoys spending time with his wife and working with community service projects.
